What Are You Grateful For?

By October 6, 2014Muse News

gratitudeIn today’s world, it can be difficult to see all the wonderful and good things around you.  Lately, on social media, we’ve all been seeing a rash of people being nominated for the gratitude/positivity challenge.  Each person nominated must post three things that they are grateful for during a given amount of days.  It is a nice change of pace to have people realize how much they actually have to be grateful for.  Just taking the time to think about what you have, instead of what you don’t, can help change one’s mindset for the better.

While pondering this, the Muses took a moment to reflect on what they too are grateful for.  Angela is grateful for family, friends and her Muses.  Stephanie is grateful for family, cookies and wifi.  Maureen found that she was grateful for family, music and campfire.

But why relegate it to a mere few days of a challenge?  Why not challenge yourself to keep going?  Make gratitude an everyday thing.  There are a number of things you can do, for example, keep a gratitude journal, or start a gratitude jar.  You can even find help from bloggers, like Murray Blehart, who try to help us find new ways to see the good in all things with his blogs Positivity and Pathwalking.
