Are You Compliant?

By November 9, 2017Muse News

In today’s world, we are lucky to have so many forms of technology that open up new worlds to us on a daily basis.

To think that there was a time when you had to go to the bank, go to the store or pick up the phone and call for take-out is inconceivable today.

Technology has been able to provide us with easy access to everything we could possibly need.  But, is this true for everyone?

Unfortunately, it is not.  Not every person in the world is able to see.  Not every person in this world is able to hear.  We take for granted that the things that are so easy to access for us, may not be so easy for those with disabilities.  This is where ADA Compliance comes in.

The purpose of ADA compliance is to ensure ease of access to everyone.

When websites are initially designed, people who have physical impairments may not always be considered as possible users.  In order to help us keep them in mind, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has provided us with guidelines to ensure that websites are optimized for users with disabilities.

Making some design changes to your website can go a long way to bringing the world to individuals with disabilities.  Everyone should be able to have the same experience with technology, no matter what modality they use.  The Muse Marketing Group is proud to announce that we will now offer ADA Compliance services for new and existing websites.
