As Pride Month comes to a close, we should all remember that everyone, no matter who they are, should have the same rights under the law. No one should be discriminated against because of who they are as an individual. Equally so, no one should be discriminated against for who they love.

Whether you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community or a supporter, we should all be willing to fight for what we know is the right path to ensure that all humans are truly equal. Love for our fellow human beings can move mountains. As John Lewis said, “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble and help redeem the soul of America.”
