Muse welcomes Alex Newman, an “almost-intern” last year, who unfortunately ended up being unable to work with Muse due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, her desire to contribute to the team was not dampened, and luckily, she was able to find time to try again this year. She is excited to be able to learn more from Muse in the fields of web development, social media content creation, and graphic design.
In her free time, Alex loves to read a good book (with a cat on her lap), play Scrabble, hike, and snowboard. She attends the University of Michigan and is in the Honors Program. She thinks that she will probably double major in Sociology and Computer Science. Her spirit animal is a panda, as she loves how adorable, calm, and fuzzy they are. She is happy to be a New Muse!
